Welcome
to what must be the most picturesque of venues for folk music in the
U.K. The former home of one of Wirral's first entrepreneurs,
the building was moved brick by brick to its present site early in the
20th century from the nearby Bidston Hill.
The concerts are held in the Great Hall which boasts Sir Walter
Raleigh's fireplace with ornate wooden carvings adorning the walls and
a gallery which overseeas the stages and marvellous chandeliers.
Alternatively when more space is needed we move to the adjoining heated
marquee which affords the perfect setting and harks back to warm summer
days on the festival circuit. If you have never paid us a
visit
come along and enjoy the very best of folk music at a venue that really
is as good as it sounds. http://www.hillbarkhotel.co.uk/
